The Industrial Muse
Located within a repurposed 19th-century warehouse in Toronto’s vibrant Queen West district, this interior design project is a masterclass in Industrial Sophistication. The goal was to preserve the raw, tectonic soul of the building while introducing a contemporary "atmosphere" of warmth and luxury.
The design is anchored by the rhythmic repetition of original exposed red brick and heavy black steel timber-frame ceilings. To balance these rugged elements, a curated palette of refined materials was introduced: custom matte-black cabinetry, polished concrete floors, and rich leather upholstery. The open-concept layout is punctuated by a monolithic stone kitchen island and a professional-grade workspace, catering to the lifestyle of a modern creative. The result is a residence that feels both grand in its history and intimate in its domesticity.
